Subjects Taught
6th Grade - Math/ELA/Science

I consider teaching as my calling. It's always been my passion to learn and to help others. Every year I continue to build my capacity in subject area content and activities to help my students succeed. In addition, working alongside my Waterloo team has been educating and helpful in improving my skills.

Bachelor of Arts, Psychology with minor in Child Development, CSU, Stanislaus

Associate of Arts, Delta College

I started this path to teaching, volunteering at my son's SDC Class. It was then that I realized that I wanted to go into teaching, however, I didn't know how and where to start. Therefore, I started working for the YMCA and Boys & Girls Club of Stockton as an after school program teacher. After 5 years of working as an after school teacher, I slowly moved in the direction of becoming a General Ed. teacher. I was lucky to start my career at Waterloo, I've worked with Mrs. Hicks, Mrs. Roberson, Mrs. Zolezzi, Mrs. Cocola, Ms. Pierce, and Mrs. Haley-Baden and they have all been helpful mentors. I hope to continue working with these excellent people :)

I am originally from Palau, a small remote island in the Pacific Ocean near Guam. I am from a family of seven kids and I am the 4th eldest child. I have lived in the United States for 12 years. I really love the dynamic and diversity of California. I have learned to love the cultural background and traditions of many ethnic groups. It's nothing like "HOME" but I've learned that as long as I am happy and with my family, anywhere we live will be just like "HOME". I am a caring and compassionate person. I love kids, I love teaching, I love learning, and as Bill Nye says, "EVERYONE you will every meet KNOWS something that you don't."
